rim swap fail, rims are wobbly

    i have a 2008 2.7lt Tacoma single cab 2wd, i recently lifted it and now have 31s on it. im still using my 15x6 stock Toyota rim. i recently went to my tire guy to get new rims but when we put them on they where wobbly(just rim no tire). Tried it on the other side same issue. removed my 31 of my tire then put the rim on the truck and there is no wobble. im stumped!!! has any one had this issue or kow what i can do? oh we also did try different rims all had same result.
