I searched and could not find anything on checking the transmission fluid on my '14 2.7L Auto Transmission. I'm surprised it's not in the manual...but it's not. Anyone?

btw...this is the first AUTO I've had in like 30 years...so it's been awhile. I THINK I simply check the level while the engine is running on a flat surface...but there must be some detail on here somewhere.

So I just checked it hot...my fluid is exactly on the "yellow arrow" notch. I now have questions about the dipstick. There are (4) notches on the dipstick. Do I have them labeled correctly? I don't understand why this isn't in the Manual!

Yea just check it while running. Actually the instructions should be engraved on the dipstick itself. "Check while running in Park"... something like that.

I checked it while running, and it came up to the yellow arrow notch in my picture...but I don't now what that notch means??? Is that the MIN level for hot? The issue is that I don't know what the different notches mean. I took a guess in my picture...but was hoping someone here could verify/confirm my guess.
