I'm a newbie here at the forum, which appears a great online resource to network Tacoma owners.

Well, I need a piece of advice from existing forum members...to be honest I do not have a Tacoma at all but I'm thinking about buying a used 4CYL Tacoma extended cab 2WD probably around 2000M/Y. Tranny doesn't matter...either stick or auto will be fine. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what to watch out when I buy a used Tacoma nearly 10yrs old. Is there any particular weak point like auto tranny, radiator, electric parts, etc...? I want to ask killer questions sellers don't want to be asked:D

    thx

Sweet! It was lightening fast feedback! Thanks a lot...I will pay attention to frame rust that should be common in mid-west. Anything else like mechanical or electrical?
