I have a co-worker who purchased a 4 cylinder two-wheel drive tacoma earlier this year.i was talking to him this morning and he said that he could not get a supercharger for it, something to do with the '09 motor has been changed? was curious if this is true or if he has been mis-lead. Thanks

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Turbo's are a custom set-up. So the answer to your question is yes.
