Take a 7/8 cold chisel and put it in between the rotor and the back of the stud and hit the chisel with a hammer. Rotate all the around the rotor till it pops loose.

just saw your email today. past couple of days I used pb blast and a large chisel and actually did what I read in your post, took a couple of hours but I was finally able to separate the rotor from the hub. thanks anyway. see that you ride a c14 concours. I ride a 2005 connie. wanted the newer version, unfortunately I'm already vertically challenged on mine. thanks again for replying.

Is there not a hole in the rotor to screw in a bolt that will push the rotor away from the hub? or is that concept too old school?

I ran into this same issue with my 2002 taco recently. I tried lots of PB, lots of beating, and tugged and pulled for a good long while. It was as if it was welded to the hub!

Finally, I took a small bottle jack and wedged it between the rotor and a steel pry bar I wedged against the frame. That worked perfectly.
