Changed head gasket....truck won't start...please help

    I had a feeling that was it. Did you see my post on page 3? There was a lot of people chiming in around then, so you might have over looked it at the time.

    Only a suggestion. If all checks ok, replace engine oil and filter after the short drive.;)

    I learned never to assume and to always double check the basics. I have another very minor issue that I will repost in a few minutes. Again....I really appreicate all of the help everyone in here gave me! It feels GREAT to finally get this done!

    Replaced the head gasket on my ol' 86 Toy Truck which had the 22R motor years ago. Everything looked good and it sounded good cranking over but it would not start. Towed it to my local Toyota dealer and the problem was the throttle sensor needed to be recalibrated. That was the only problem.
