so far the hardest thing is disconnecting all the things off of the seat and putting it on the new ones. I also didn't have screws so that was another issue. I put everything back since It didn't seem easy. The next day off or weekend, I'll try it again.

I think drew02a swapped in some buckets. Thought he had a thread about it, maybe in his build thread.

EDIT: here's pics from his build thread, thought there was more info somewhere

    completely stock
the 09-10 bench does have airbags in it... the weight connectors are different but they are not hard to figure out what wires go were and solder them rather than worry about the connectors. the 09-10 airbags are an issue though. there is a way to match the resistance of the airbag and add a resistor to the circuit but idk what the resistance is...

Well I won't worry about airbags. I have an '05. They're a pain. It might have to call Toyota and order more seat mounts

Purchasing spare seat mounts still seems like the way to go.

some custom brackets made with flat 1/4" steel. :) painted black and finished off of course. They look okay and sit low like a race car. :/

they came with rails. usually you'd be able to unbolt the mounting brackets from the oem seats and then attach them to the new seats but since i had a bench, i only had enough mounts for one seat.ha then i sold the bench with mounts for $300 picked up.

10-11 reg cab doesn't have an air bag IN the seat.

What is has is an air bag WEIGHT SENSOR underneath the seat. This is so my 7 year old daughter can ride in the seat without being killed by the airbag in the event of an accident.

If your older bench seat doesn't have this sensor, there's nothing to worry about.
