Thanks man... the SV650 is a fantastic bike! Mine was a leftover '03 that I bought new in Feb '04 with a nice discount. I've put over 20K miles on it so far and not the first hint of a problem. I do everything from commute 50 miles to work to rip up the NC mountains on it (that pic is from Deal's Gap). I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I actually haul my dirt bike ('07 KTM 400 XC-W) more often than the SV, but the truck handles either one very well. Like I said... it tows my 2500-lb boat just fine, so a bike or two in the bed is barely even noticeable.

    Looking!
Plenty of torque, and low cost of ownership over the long haul. This is our fourth Toyota pickup, and all have had 4 bangers. (8RC, 22R, 2.4L and now 2.7L). Dang things keep going and going. Got 260,000 miles out of our 22R in a 1984 3/4 ton Toyota truck, and though I had the head off once, the block never left the vehicle. It wouldn't quit, and eventually I got tired of driving it and gave it away to a charity.

Low initial cost, better mpg, cheapest truck I could find with 4x4, known for incredible reliability.

Never even considered the v6 when I was looking to buy my Tacoma.
