So my brother just came back from Costa Rica and Nicuragua (sp) and got to drive the Hi-lux 4 cyl diesel, said he has the upmost respect and would love to have one. Now you have to know my brother, he has lived and died by the saying "there is no replacement for displacement" He is a V-8 with headers, he is all about power. He now knows what it means to have torque, proper applied power, proper applied power to the tires so traction is optimum. A stout made vehicle, made to handle third world roads, and what my brother says some are just "ways". There is no road, just a "way", driving through jungle passes, sandy-like deserts, or really wet fields. I really wish I was there to see what he saw. All I have to say is that HELL must be getting cold, because I would have never thought I would have heard those words come from my brother, Y'all better get your blankets.
