1st gen 2.7 Timing chain?

    Deck plate mod, intake silencer removed, AFE Pro Dry S Air Filter, debadged, Goodyear Duratracs 265/75R16. Flowmaster knock-off muffler!
    has anyone on here replaced their 1st gen 2.7 ltr timing chain yet? if so, how bad was it, job wise? how long did it take u, & what milage did u have on it when u replaced it? did u get a timing chain from toyota? how much was it? thanks in advance!

    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    Why does it need replacing? Chains don't regularly need replacing unless something is wrong with them, they may need adjusting, but that's about it.

    no, as far as i know of it doesnt need to be replaced. im not hearing it slap the front timing cover or anything. i was just wondering if anyone has replaced 1!
