You are not going to have the Ultragauge properly calibrated after only 3 fill ups.

Previous owner used to haul heavy loads, so he put an AAL on it and TRD front suspension with a lift and custom rear suspension for added weight capacity. I recently installed a tow package (Curt with lifetime warranty) So i will definitely see what this thing can handle as far as weight goes.
I got as much as 487 on my 2006 prerunner with a manual transmission. Using whatever kind of gas the dealership used. Never use valero for your truck. My truck went through it twice as fast as any other gasoline for some reason.

I NEVER get less than 400 miles out of a tank. Though I push it a little. The low fuel light comes on when you have 4 or 5 gallons left (2nd gens.) Anyway, I have pushed it to nearly 500 miles before. And i put 20.5 gallons in it at fill up, so I was Real close to running out. My truck is a bone stock '06, 2.7 liter, manual, base model, single cab. And I run full synthetic everywhere, which makes a small difference. But the biggest thing is driving habits. I can tell when I've been driving fast by my mileage. Usually I try to keep it under 2500 rpm, and It throw 'er in neutral and coast up to lights, stop signs, etc whenever possible.

    Bingo.

While my average is mid-24, even at that, 24.5 at 20 gallons is 490 miles.

I run a very consistent 22.5 mpg. I don't know what that works out to per tank, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I was doing about 80mph on the highway to Detroit and it was super windy out. got around 17-18mpg. typically I drive about 60-65mph and do a lot better. but that 4cyl was running close to 3000rpm and that hurt a lot. I try to keep it under 2500

I averaged 21.6mpg last weekend roundtrip from Minneapolis to Chicago. I has cruise control set at 72mph. I'm going to run it again the weekend with seafoam in the tank to clean things up. We'll see what that does.

2007 Base /w 2.7 engine and auto. I am pushing around a full bed cap, which is 4-5" higher than the cab, and also a full ladder roof rack which extends forward over the cab. I generally have a fair amount of weight in the truck - most of 1000 lbs. I would guess. Mobil 1 oil, 235R75-15 Michelin tires. Get about 18-19 mpg on average. 3-4 less if I am hurrying on the interstates. <g>

I used to have a 2013 Corolla which got about 29-30 mpg. I traded it in on a 2014 Corolla Eco with that no-gears transmission.

Well; the 2014 is much faster, much quicker, AND gets close to 40 mpg.

How the hell did Toyota manage That trick? <g>

been few yrs and 10k since my last post and my local/city type 4cyl4x mpg has improved from a disapointing initial 17,18 to about 20,21 so not too shabby.

    If you look here

(caution, my ugly mug is there too)

You'll see around 110,000 miles tracked on 3 2.7L 5 speed reg cab Tacos since 2008.

I think about filling around 375 normally. I've gone 460-475ish a couple times and still had a few gallons left, but I don't like running it so low, since the fuel is also the coolant/lube for the fuel pump.

for the last 3 months I have gotten 19.71 mpg, but its going downward due to the crap winter gas. Lately I have been filling up around the 325 miles.

In Aug-Nov, I was averaging 22.43 mpg (bought new in Aug).

My last ten tanks have averaged 21.4 MPG. Not bad considering 85% of my driving is 3 mile trips back and forth to work.
