Thanks man. I had an old 5 lug before and they were a blast to drive! I'm sure your truck will last you forever, if you want to keep it that long! The best part was parts like tires were cheap! Never a problem on the wallet

Does anyone know if I'll get a new car from Toyota if I hit a million miles? Maybe a trophy... or at least some sort of recognition from them...

lol... I'll find an excuse to spend another 30 grand on gas to rack up 150k to get even. Since I moved much closer to work now, I've been slow to rack up miles, which is good since I do get tired of driving that much... these seats aren't that great man and the roads ride like they've been done by child labor.

'97 5-speed with 170,000+ Had to install new exhaust valves around 120,000 after pulling a small but loaded Uhaul from Alaska to Montana. Low compression now - rings. I'll just overhaul & keep going. Is there an overhaul thread?

Has 1600 miles....hey, I live about 1.1 miles to work....and I ocassionally ride a bike....I am thinking about this as an investment, so in five years when I go for the double cab off road edition, they will be willing to give me 15,000 on a trade in....hey one can dream can we?

My last truck was a 2.7 and it had 187,000 when I traded it. Best vehicle I ever owned. It was still running strong I just needed the family back seat.

Need to update my status!

I traded in my ole 97 with 187k... Ran like a champ!

Now I have a 2006 with 140k on it, again running like a champ!

2.7's are unbeatable!

93k , the last 40k was this year alone.... Plus I just up sized to 255/85/16 and I'm still getting 19.8 (20) mpgs on stock gearing with lots of highway and city use. I really like the truck just may have to go to a DC before too long... My son is not a fan of his seat (back) and I will be buying a couple four wheelers this summer and I already have a trailer that needs a little work which is heavy as hell so new truck soon... (Maybe/hopefully)
