    Is on... 08 tacoma 2.7... anyone know if the sensors' often go bad and hopefully its just that? or any other ideas? its a brand new truck... 26k miles on it... there couldnt possibly be anything majorly wrong... right? :confused:

    You need to get the codes pulled on that vehicle. If it is done by someone with a little knowledge, get the freeze frame data too. That will give some direction to start with.

    Remember that a code does not directly point to a part that needs to be replaced. It could be caused by wiring, programming or a mechanical defect yielding a failed test. Testing is usually required to be accurate.

    Dad thinks toyota dealership is too expensive, so good year is where were going... wish me luck
