Stronger with age?

    I have an '09 Reg. Cab 2.7L 5-speed with about 25K miles on it - and I swear it seems to have more power lately. I'd expect it to gain a little after the initial break-in... say after the first 3K miles or so... but at 25K??? I check my fuel mileage at every fill-up - and no change there.

    I'd suspect a switch away from winter-blend gasoline, but I don't think we get winter-blend fuel here in SC. I could be wrong though. Also, I'd expect a change in MPG if that were the case.

    Not that I'm complaining... just curious if anybody else has noticed anything similar.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Most newer vehicles tend to have better performance from the engine at around 30 to 40,000 miles, as opposed to when new.
