    Since no one seems to sell a cabin air filter for my 2003 Tacoma, I assume it doesn't have one. When did Toyota first add the filters for Tacomas?

    I thought I remembered someone saying their 05 didn't have one (but it did have a lot for it), but the 06's did have one.

    05s have the box but they didn't actually put a filters in them until 06. My "certified" preowned 05 purchased in 09 still had nothing there. Lame and lame.......Dunno about 1st gens

    i dont think they came in 1st gen trucks. but like everyone else said 05+ trucks have the slot, 06+ comes with a filter in it from the factory.

    My 05 has the slot above the fan and has a OEM filter in it. May have been added after the truck was purchased, but I can't confirm as I am the second owner.
