    I say yes, I had it done to my 2.4 and I have it done to my 3.4, it frees up direct airflow to the filter and is smog legal. You really only have to worry about additional debri and water getting in the filter box with it open.

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Take your air box out cut a 4" hole in the front "The side that sits behind the head light" Take a 4" deck plate and apply some censer safe silicone and screw it in place.
