    i would just cut it off,and replace it with a regular clamp

    j/k. No. replace with a regular hose clamp.

    Are you replacing the hoses, too?

    It will untwist but like every ones says replace it with a gear clamp.

    The hoses are in great shape....and i'll replace the old clamp with a regular, new one....thanks.
