    hey hwtas up every one im new here i just got my taco prerunner 2.7 cyl yesterday(pics to come soon) and i have been looking around and i have a question about my truck is it possible to do a v6 swap and 4x4 conversion to a 04 4cyl prerunner

    dude that sounds like a lot of money and time,you can do alot to your prerunner.I had a 97 4x4 v6 trd and now have a 03 prerunner I recently got dude so I feel you on wantin the 4x4 but the 2.7 is good.

    Anything is possible. There have been many PreRunner to 4x4 conversions in the past. Check out TTORA.com for info on it. The worst part is finding all the parts and electronics for the engine swap.

    Yeah I would just rather buy a 4x4 v6 to play with you can find them cheap enough. Oh well if you like the work it would be ok.
