    Hey guys,

I have a 2012 dcsb 2.7 prerunner and it's too quiet for me. I was wondering which muffler length to go with the 14" or the 18"? My guess is the 18" will be quieter and give less highway drone?

I've looked at many videos and have read countless threads, but I could not find what I was looking for.

    Thanks in advance

I have the 14" and can tell you I wish I had gone with the 18". From inside the cab I get that teenager Honda open pipe pissed off bumble bee sound. It's better than stock, just sayin.

Off key, but curious as to how the 2.7 does in a dcb? I wanted to drive one when I picked mine out, but never got around to it. What kind of gas milage are you getting?

It does alright, but the 4.0 is rocket compared to the 2.7. I get around 17mpg, which is not very good at all. I regret getting the 2.7 though, should've got the 4.0 :frusty:

No it's not, it's a lot of truck for that little engine. It has to work hard to get it going, where as the 4.0 it moves the truck much much easier
