    Hello to everyone here!

I am new member to the forum, first time posting. I bought a 2013 standand cab taco 2.7 auto trans. I have only 1300 miles on it. It is my first Truck, I do like the truck alot. I have noticed that the idle drops down when I put the brakes on, so much that it almost stalls out. and at the stop light it will go down so low the trucks starts to shake.
Will something like this get better as the truck breaks in, or should I call the dealer and let them know what is going on.
Any body in this forum have a 2013 taco 4 cly. I live in Harford County Md
I do Thank you for you time on this matter.
    Take Care, God Bless

Id get into the dealer......that's unacceptable imho.

U have a warranty, they should stand by it and help you out.

Let us know how it goes........and welcome to TW

Mine shudders a little when I slow down. Not sure if it's the engine or the brakes. Could be winter gas to.

I own the same truck. Take it back to the dealer. It should not idle at such a low rpm.

Mine goes low in rpm's when coming to a stop sometimes.

To me it seems like a converter unlocking right before stall speed.

I think the mechanics on this forum would know best!

    Regards Ron

My 2010 idles just fine..sits around 700 or so. You shouldn't be having this issue, so like it was said definitely have the dealer figure it out..that's why you got a warranty.

    Hey Guys and Gals

Thank you all for getting back with me on this issue, The dealer looked at it, and said that they could not find anything wrong, but to give it to 5000 to 8000 miles and if it does not get better, I will take it back and get it checked out again.
It does seem to be getting better.
Thanks for you time on this matter!!
    Take care

It might be more of a shudder like the one guy said. It just might be the Brakes!!

Do you fill up from the same gas station most of the time? There is a local station that does not have a high turnover rate on their gas - it seems old most of the time. Whenever I would fill up there, my truck would perform like shit, idle rough, and my gas milage would be through the floor.

Just a suggestion, hope it all turns out for the best.
