Is the sound coming from top or bottom and how many miles? Is it loud? Does it get worst if the engine is spend up ? It could be a bad lifter, or just a normal sound.

the truck is 2 hours far from me so i cant tell the sound i asked the guy to make a video of the truck and the frame everything but the video is to heavy to be sent... 185 000 kilo not miles what should i ask to him ? he said that the head just been planned and the valve sealed and ajusted by the garage probably not toyota garage.. thanks for reply!

Yeah, more than likely valves. The 3 I've had were all pretty noisy. Easy to adjust though. Instructions are everywhere and simple to follow :)

Just buy some feeler gauges from any parts shop. Get the ones that are bent, the straight ones can be a pain. Easily doable by yourself. If you have money you could go to a shop, but it's pretty painless.

I made them worse the first time I did them but after that it was easy.
