Reguiar Cab Lifts
 
So am I correct in reading that lifting the Regular Cab 4x4 Tacoma in a negative way affects the front differential? I was all set to lift my Reg Cab with an OME kit but honestly did not have the technical knowledge to completely understand how and why this may be a problem. I would hate to spend all the money and then have some issue thats only solution would be returning to stock conditions. Yes ive read the forums, so please dont flame me on my first post. I just wanna reassure myself im doing the right thing by keeping my reg cab in its current form.

Reasons for me to Keep my Regular cab stock height.
#1 Its a Toyota it sets higher than 90% of other makes
#2 Ive owned other lifted trucks/suv's and the wear and tear on ball joints and CV axles aren't worth the added cost to a daily driver
#3 I want to continue getting 22mpg

So bland though . Going with up to 2.5" front and rear lift is usually problem free .

I have a new RC with a 3" lift and have now got 30k on truck and 20k on lift. No problems. It's all up to you, there are negative side effects when you lift a truck, is it worth it to you?

Go with a OME lift and 285s, cant go wrong!
