really? thats crazy, i would expect more from that, maybe atleast 5-5 hp with just doing the t.b.! figured porting the head would do pretty good too! oh well, i might try the t.b., & the intake here soon.

Toyota is getting 159 HP out of 165 cubic inches. The way they did that is by designing the throttle bodt, ports on the head and all other compnents related tot he airflow with very high tolerances. Additional porting can't imporve much on what has already been done well.

You will be putting a whole lot of effort for very little gain. You'd do better to address the factors that limit airflow by putting in a new cold air intake, headers and a muffler with increased flow.

yeah, im wanting headers, will try to get that soon. would like a cold air intake also. that might be this year, or maybe next, just figured porting this stuff would more of a gain, guess not, thanks!

Theres not much of a gain by bolt ons with these trucks. You're looking at about a 10-15HP gain by every bolt on available.

10% power increase without increasing the size of the injectors or otherwise increasing the fuel flow? Not too shabby.
