So I recently purchased a 2012 4cyl Tacoma (was looking for a better gas option) and I ran into a slight problem... I honestly have no clue what to do with it. Please excuse my n00biness of knowing nothing about trucks. Anyways, if you have any suggestions of what I can do, it would be greatly appreciated :) Only thing I have at the moment.... A small Oakley sticker on the back, lol.
Links to different things would also be greatly appreciated...
    :D

Well first you need to decide a budget.
Then what are you going to try to do with it? Off roader? If so to what level?
    Is this your DD?

And don't feel bad, I'm new to this too, only difference is the hours I've spent on here researching after I bought my truck a month ago

My budget is around $1,000 and I would like to off road. I'm not looking for insane offloading mods, just something to get by.

    OME lift kit

Research it on forums and you'll see alot off people run this. I myself have order this and going to install on my new taco.

Should be pretty close to 1000 installed, might go over.

After that save up and buy new tires/ rims if you want a different look
