I need some opinions

I'm in the market for a reg cab 4x4 but price will be a big factor.
I could settle with either a 1st or 2nd gen.

The problem I have is that most of the reasonable priced yotas you find around me are ones that have 100-150k on them. I know that that most yotas will run way passed that.

Should I worry about anything with a used yota with 100-150k miles?

 

Look for any rust on the undercarriage, check to see if the timing belt/water pump has ever been replaced, and then see if it's been beaten on. Good luck finding a truck!

 

around here in NC just look for well taken care tacoma, there's not much a of a problem here with the rust but just check for it, check the engine and components

 

Personally, I look for stock vehicles that have been taken care of. Vehicles that haven't had and mods, have stock tires, wheels and (tape deck) radios are far less likely to have been beat on.
