I didn't mod the intake at all on mine - all I had was a Flowmaster 40 Original and the tires. It had plenty of power for me.

I know im gonna be bashed for this but if you just want room for bigger tires, do a spacer leveling kit. I have daystar 2.5 poly sacers up front and have 265/75/16 cooper s/t's and it looks great. could use a block in the back but no more than 1". i hit some pretty rough hunting trails and it holds up just fine and rides great!

Thanks dude - I loved that truck!

I'll hopefully be going the same route with my 2011.

I'm not going to bash you, but nobody on here will actually recommend going this route.

after a while those spacers will take a toll on your boot, joints..etc. especially if your off roading at all. had em on my 06 and i regret ever getting em.

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
Stock coils are not designed to handle the preload and will ride like a spacer lift. The billies "can" be cranked to 2.5" but is like an internal spacer lift! Better to get longer coils like eibach's or OME's and have the billies at a lower setting!

If.........your wanting to level the front, you could just set them at 1.75" and be done with it! The 265's will fit stock, obviously!

Im not being a smart @$$ but if the billies raise the height in the front just like spacers, will it not have the same effect?? Lifting is lifting right? Just different methods. And i dont offroad except for the hunting trail.

How so? If you lift the truck it still has the same effect on the cv angle and joint, boot wear.
