It took me a while to decide on what suspension/lift to get so I want to give as good feed back as possible to anyone wondering.

Put the 5100's on and WOW I cant believe the difference. Unreal feeling in the truck now. Went from the stock Bilstein HD (yellow and blue) to these and it makes the truck feel like a full sized truck because it floats over bumps and the road. I am INSANELY happy with it.
Here is a picture. The tires are 1" bigger, so about 1/2 of lift there and added to the 1.75 in the front its about 2.25" in the front and .5 in the rear. I have the TSB done stock (all canadian Tacos have them) and it sits VERY close to level, with a slight and basically un noticeable rake to the front. Makes it look like a beefy stock look and I love it. Nothing I would change about it. Didnt really hurt my MPG yet either. I lost about 2 mpg with winter gas, and about 1.5-2 with the tires, but nothing since the lift.

You mention the loss of MPG with the larger tires.

Are those the E load range tires 55lbs or the C load range 47lbs.

Trying to figure out how much I am going to loose when I switch tires as well.

I really cannot believe the E range weigh that much for each tire that is crazy.

Stock is about 36-38 pounds depending on what brand tire for standard load rating.

Looks good, my truck is in the shop now but I have a set of 5100s that I am getting installed at 1.75 once I get it back. Need the extra height for tire clearance.

To be honest I haven't had my truck that long and I am not sure what leaf pack I have on the rear. I am assuming it is not the TSB as it is a 2006.

I will eventually add a leaf and 5100s in the rear.

Ya I dont think till this year they came with the 4th leaf. But I will say, you will like the 5100s. My girlfriend noticed a difference right away and she knows nothing. So much smoother

I went with just the C rated ones, but its also the tread pattern that kills the MPG. I like to coast alot to drive it up and these tires have a lot of momentum killing in them. Not TOO bad and I wouldnt change it anyways. Its also noted I went from the stock Bridgestone Dueler 684 II's and IMO they are one of the best MPG friendly tires around.

Nice looking truck. I would have got those C range BFG's but they don't make them in 16 inch.
