alright, due to peer pressure here are some pics.
nothing drastic (pretty simple install thanks to the retro quick kit brackets and all) no painting or any modification to the housing at all. (boring OEM look until the lights come on)

Before pic, 100k miles and I don't think the headlights were ever refreshed. (I haven't had the car that long)


In process - the hardest part was working up the nerve to place the lights into the oven, after that it was basically taking it slow to make sure I didn't F it up.


finished product - much clearer lenses, look very nice (Meguiar's kit is what I used, I assume they're all pretty much the same) retains stock shroud so the retro fit is basically invisible.

Amost finished. The side emitting LED's came in from Hong Kong today, and they look decent. Already thinking about doing a second set of retro fits as there are a couple things I would like to try knowing what the job consists of...one thing I would like to try relates to the red tinge seen in the lens.....

 

I like those LED's got a daylight shot of them, Id like to see what they look like in the housing and what projectors are those? What are your ideas?

 

Not as clean as I had hoped it would look, but I don't think it looks terrible either.

 

is it possible for a 1998 tacoma? if so do you have an example?
