subwoofer depth is 3 inches, I don't think you'll be able to make it work unless you don't use the seat all the way back

yea i was just doing some measurements... they are way to big of subs to use back there. I mean they are huge subs. more like 7" depth.

not really. I figure they are pretty cheap and the specs look good. My 12s have spoiled me. they just look really easy to mount and not have to move the jack or modify the tilt handle. i just wonder how hard they hit... i listen to rock/metal so im not looking for club thump. i like to feel every hit of a doublebass and the smaller subs might react better? if they have 8s in this shallow id prolly go for them

Ohh ok, yeah coming from the 12s its definitely a big change. You should be able to fit two of those 6.5" without modifying anything.

BTW on mine I did not have to modify the tilt handle or move the jack. I only had to remove one of the child seat hooks:

I don't own a 2nd Gen. but, you might want to check to see if these subs might fit?

Old Series MB Quarts with the magnets in the front of the speaker.

    Or

    New Series Shallow Mount

I would think that the Old Series with the magnets in front would be a better sounding sub but, I have never heard either one. The real old MB Quart subs used to be a SQ type sub that would go deep but, took a lot of power. I don't know about the new stuff.

yeah i like it. it's not gonna compete with an L7 lol but for what it is it's amazing. love the sound quality of it, but it is a bit pricey for what you do get. it does slam pretty nice, and my box is only like .45 cubic feet ish. it's probably the best sub you can buy for a reg cab due to the space limitations, imho.
