I was out at ocotillo wells but didn't make it to superstition. Plus I barely even moabed the truck. So it was highly unlikely you'd see me out there. I was mostly on the dirt bike where most people dont ride. EPIC weather or what guys!!!???

I was at Ocotillo from Tues night till last night, simply awesome!!

The only bad part was my CRF450 locked up in the first 10 minutes...at least I had a back up 250 to ride...weather was super nice, although my god there were a lot of people out!

Still super fun, get to tear down the bike today to inspect the damage...

did we have a little piston sieze ?? My old Kawasaki Green Streak used to sieze on a somewhat regular basis, usually when I was WFO down a wash or fast straightaway, I'd buy piston/ring sets by the 6-pack.. that bike handled like shit but really hauled ass, alot of fun to ride....:D

Naw actually since it is a 450 (4-stroke) it was valvetrain related, the tensioner let go allowing slack in the chain the valve timing jumped a few teeth and WHAM!! The piston hit the intake and exhaust valves, the exhaust valves survived as did the piston, however the intakes didnt fair so well.....but its an easy fix, new intake valves, gaskets and fluids...

I am thinking af getting a KTM 300 2 stroke eventually for a spare bike...I at least had my other bike, a YF250F, not as fun as the 450 I must say...but its all good, I got to ride over 18 hours in 4 days!! :D

Its about 100 yards away from gasdome. You can see it from the gated part of gasdome.
