I was changing a front wheel bearing for the first time on my 2nd gen since upgrading from the 1st gen taco, this is when I discovered there was no way to remove the inner tapered bearing with out wrecking the inner seal. So i repacked the bearings and put it back together till i could get the seal. Before taking it apart for a 2nd time, my question is have they made an update to this seal or did I recieve the wrong one? I noticed the seal currently on my 2008 was full rubber and the new one I have is a rubber/metal seal from national wheel end/moog. It looks similar in size, just don't want to take it apart again to find out it's the wrong seal. The inner dia. 7cm, outer dia. 10cm. Thanks guys!

Also this seal was a $3 more from piston ring then it was from the closest Toyota dealer... Which didn't have it in stock.

This is what mine look like. I bought two to replace mine as they're torn up.

Metal and rubber with a spring around the rubber.
