I am selling my portable laser.

Puts out 1watt of royal blue light.... solid beam at night with no fog.

Comes with case, charger and 6 batteries.

    Probably 1 hour total use.

Was $300 new with all the accessories.

Here's a youtube video... not mine.. but the same laser.

Is this that laser that can permanently blind people pretty much instantly? If so. Dibs.

Yeah it can burn things at close range... within a foot or two... can be used camping to start a fire... also works as a great beacon... once I got a little lost in the woods while hunting and pointed it straight up so the others in my party could guide me in the right direction.

It's just for toying with out at the desert.. during the 4th of july... for putting on your own laser light show basically. Gets lots of "whoa" attention.

    Star wars stuff... ya know.

Asking what this is for is like asking what devil horn emblems are for. :)

    LOL

I heard about this laser a couple months ago, honestly it's scary that they would make such a thing. Lots of people potentially going blind because of this.

Yeah this can potentially be used as a weapon.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laser_safety

    It's considered a class 4 laser.

There are no laws against owning one....... yet.

Just don't shine it at aircraft, people,.... use common sense.

Of course it's just a matter of time before a few dummies screw it up for everyone else.... but it hasn't happened yet.

My astronomy teacher uses them to point out stars and constellations. Not sure if he uses the same one as the OP has. I think they called these the now & day lightsaber.
