Yeah I got it off using a kitchen scrub pad and hot water. I tried a few cleaners before but they key was hot water. All white now. Thanks :)

Bleach white is a tire cleaner made for white walls and available everywhere. It's the only stuff I use on mine even though I have the lettering facing in. It takes off the clay and mud good but also works great for getting the smurf blood off.

Just finished reading all 54 pages of this thread. Lots of great info and input. Thanks to all. The Duratracs sound like just the ticket for my needs which are mostly highway driving with periodic off road use in the Texas hill country.

So, I ordered a set of 265/75R16 load range C's from 4WheelParts for $192 and will be getting them mounted on Thursday. Can't wait to see how they handle and perform on my truck.

Folks are still spending way too much for these tires...here's a collection of good gouge from this 20-something page thread (not taking credit, just consolidating others great finds):

    1) Get an "ebates" account, its free (or Bing). http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrer...dnyuoXSA%3D%3D.
    a) Look up 4 wheel parts from within your ebates site. Click on the 4 Wheel Parts link to get your discount.
    b) Add tires to 'shopping cart' and put in "cc5off" coupon code for immediate 5% off.
    c) You will get another 3.5% cash back from ebates when they process your purchase.

    2) Sign up for Tread Lightly membership (now good for all of 2012) at http://www.treadlightly.org/page.php/goodyear-rebate. This membership will cost $25, but you will get a $100 rebate for Duratracs (that's a $75 net savings for the 'math-challenged').

Tire costs are constantly updated, so I won't post exact #s...that said, I tried every other method/vendor in this massive thread and this was by far the largest savings (over $200 cheaper than many 'deals' advertised in this thread). Happy huntin'.

is there really a big difference between the class C and E on these tires? I have heard that with the rubber being softer than most some people have issues with the sidewalls and the more durable load E is better. Anyone have info on this?

The general consensus is that the E is too much for our tacos and the C is just right, but E's can still work.

I love my Es 3 ply sidewall is awesome, and they air down nice and soft, I dont think the ride is too harsh, but I do have just a few extra lbs of protection. LOL

Ok so the C isn't too soft or more prone to having problems is it? I'm out in so cal and I'm mostly in the desert but sometimes do hit some rock trails and wasn't sure if the C or E was best fitted for me.

Ive had C's for half a year now and they are by far the best tire ive ever had. My previous tire was BFG A/T too.

The E rated tires are for full size trucks. Theyre very heavy. I would probably even still go with the C rated tires on a half ton pickup.
