Hey y'all I have an 08 Sr5 DC 4x4. Im looking at wheels and want to stick with 16s.

I really like the Incubus 16x8 and saw some on here in an old thread.

What I really want to know is how much further than stock a 16x8 with 4.25 BS will stick out the sides?

I like that aggressive "bowed" stance, not ridiculously offset but a little wider than stock. Just wondering if anyone had some maybe pics that I could compare with?

I plan on sticking with the 265/75s for now but can see myself lifting to run 285's in the not so distant future..

You can figure it out if you measure the backspacing on your factory wheels. Stock wheels I think are what 7" wide with about 5" of BS?

This^^^ I was trying to find 16x8 wheels with 5 in backspacing to run 285/75/16s because it is the recommended size for my Icon kit. I think stock wheels are 7 in wide, not 100% on the BS 4.5-5 is damn close though. So with less backspacing, they should stick out 1/2 an inch ish more than stock. Plus 285s are wider then 265s by a little as well so they will stick out just a bit more then the 265s do. If I had to guess, Id say with 285s and a 4.25 backspace, probably 1 1/4 inches wider than stock on each side. If you want more, you could look into wheel spacers...

stockers have 5.5" BS. so these should stick out ~1" more than stock.

They will stick out 2.25" more than stock. 1.25" due to backspacing, and 1" more due to the increased width.

Thanks man, that's the kind of pic I was looking for. I couldnt seem to find a shot straight down at the tire like that. I think I'm gonna go with the 4.25 bs 16s soon.

I thought I wanted to immediately lift it but my truck is pretty capable of handling anything I need with the 265's so we will see...
