HELP!!! with axle swap

    im almost complete with my axle swap, and supposed to press the hub? where do i press? and how big of a press id required? any help will be awesome, and please no replys telling me to just search, i have done that all day.

    now if they apart like this, that is what is being pressed right? theses two together? but when i took mine off they stayed together so are they already still pressed?

    ok so ur doing wheel bearings correct? what happens when u press it apart is the outer race will stay on the hub. u still gotta press that race off the hub too. make sure ur hub is ok before u reuse it. then hammer on ur outer seal to the bearing. then press the bearing inner race onto the hub. make sure u press on the inner part of the bearing or youll destroy it! spin the bearing while ur pressing make sure it doesnt bind. OH AND DONT FORGET UR BEARING BOLTS!

    well i tore a cv boot and replaced the axle just to make it easier and faster, but when i took the hub off, it all came off in one peice, not like the two shown in the pic above. im still confused by what exactly needs pressed. i see a black ring then two more metal rings or "race"? im guessing the middle ring or race is what needs to pushed back in? the black ring feels like a rubber seal, and the center one is solid all the way through with the notches cut inside for the axle.

    what????? why would u have peices if ur just replacing the axle? take the big nut off and it should slide right out???? im confused with out pics

    thanks for the help and the entire repair manual! i think im good after all. after looking over manual, looks like mine never seperated so dont need to press anything back, well i hope anyways!
