I have no idea about vitamins...

I've been doing some research on it, still not finding much.

Whats a good multi vitamin for a firefighter?

Any ideas or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

I take One a day pro edge sport multis. Helps me get through the day and cover my nutrition when college gets to the suck.

the B vitamins help with energy, my dad always told me to grab high b complex vitas when I get active, with ROTC, it makes a pretty good difference.

Animal pack multivitamins are hands down the best vitamins in the industry. They are truly incredible. Only downside is having to swallow a couple large pills.

Give them a try. After a couple weeks you'll notice when you forget to take them.

I dont only want a multi vitamin I dont care what it is as long as it works and it could help me.

    Thanks

    Sweet thanks

Here's the thing, obviously we could get called out any time, be at for long periods of time. Get not the healthiest meals when we are out.

I'm getting into working out pretty solid.

I don't want to get sick (lessen my chances)

And I'm sure I dont get everything I need in a single day.

So if a vitamin can help I'm down to try it!!

My next question I should have asked first, does it really work? How long did it take for you to realize it was doing something?

    Thanks again

any basic multivit is ok. you may really only need 1/2 a day really, your body will only absorb what it needs and waste the rest. and B-vit supplements are not really needed. you get more than you need thru even an average diet. you only need extra B's if you have a digestive disorder or gastric bypass. extra B's can be harmful if you have diabetes or heart disease. i suggest a basic multi, like i said maybe even take 1/2, or 1/2 twice a day. you should look into fish oil, make sure it has EPA and DHA 1500mg per serving combined, also keeping them in the freezer is good to keep the fish burps down. vit C is good for immunity too

Their really incredible. And no need to take any add ons like Vit B r calcium with them.

Oh by the way that's what I got my degree in and I work in the fitness industry. I guess you could say I'm a very "avid" weight lifting enthusiast. :)

Good luck whatever you decide on. And the Paks will also help with immune system strength as will most good multis. With your career you can't afford to be sick!

anything over 100% the daily reccommended is a waste, your body wont use it. and the ingredients with the *** nest to them mean the FDA doesnt think you need it or doesnt know what it does to you

Most multi vitamins are designed for non active people.

Those that are active such as weight lifting, exercise, sports, or careers that demand physical activity daily require more nutrients and vitamins. That's what the animal Paks are designed for. After seeing what they is in research studies in college I recommend them to everyone.

I have recommended them to several older people and all of them report back to me that they love them and wish they would have known sooner.

Even had one guy tell me he no longer needed his Geritol!! Haha

FDA doesn't govern any dietary supplements.

** means there is not an established daily amount for the particular vitamin or substance.
