Can anyone in MA help me out?

I got into an accident tonight - slid off the road on the highway and slammed into the center guardrail. The airbag deployed and my truck got towed in, and I'm going in to the hospital probably tomorrow to see if I have a concussion.

However, I was supposed to meet a guy in Norton tomorrow around 4pm to buy a cap from him. As of now, I have no way to transport it from Norton to where I live in Lexington. If any of you guys are free at all, I would totally pay for gas, your time, and give you beer.

Let me know! (Sorry this post is so confusing, if it is. I am confused currently.)

Wrong side of state for me or I'd help out, but you may not hav a truck to put a cap on at this point. What if they total it? The you're sitting with a cap and no truck! I hope you're ok as that's the most important thing.

 

Is it a SB or LB sized cap? How many miles from Norton to where this cap needs to go? You looking to get this done Tues Jan 17 or Wed the 18th at 4pm?

 

Really any day works, tomorrow would probably work. It needs to go to Lexington, MA. Actually, if anyone has a trailer, I was able to borrow a relative's Mazda Protege, so I could do it that way too.

Alrighty, think I'm gonna just rent a UHaul - that might turn out to be the best bet. Luckily I'm pretty injury free, but the truck definitely got the worst of it.



I took the picture and looked at it a little yesterday, but it looks like it's mostly cosmetic. I should have taken the damn back roads since they were plowing and salting them, but I thought they would have done the highway at least. I hit an ice patch in the far right lane, and even with 4WD and going 45mph, ended up spinning across three lanes and hitting the center guard rail.

Hopefully it's all fixable damage, and I'm glad I changed my deductible on my insurance from $1,000 to $500! My build thread will probably have some interesting updates.

 

Ok, so it turns out I need to pick it up tomorrow - any time will work. Anyone in the area between Lexington and Taunton?

 

Did they total your truck ?
Man that sucks but sounds like your alright . Truck can be replaced .
