Didn't know how this would turn out, but I'm really happy with the results. It's been about a week now and the plastidip is still going strong. I'll update this thread and let anyone know how they hold up if your interested in doing this too :D

Interested to see how it holds up. Did you take the wheels off the truck to do it or did you just leave em on?

I plan on doing it to mine as well. Perfect way to see how I like the black look before going permanent.

I thought about this but am going to just go with real paint. I don't see this holding up after a few washes.

Im worried about that too, but Ive washed it since and we've been getting rain in SD and so far they're holding up. If they peel Ill go with real paint

No I left them on. Just did a bunch of light coats so it wouldnt run. Came out pretty clean

They will hold up. I plasti-dipped the wheels on my wife's 12 offroad almost 2 months ago and they are holding up just fine. Your truck looks good btw

id like to see how they're holding up in a area where the roads get covered with salt/grit, i have my doubts about them surviving the sandblasting they'd get, that's why i've been holding off on doing mine

Mine took a good beating of salt in PA this weekend and look fine. I just washed them and they are good to go.

Thanks man. The good thing about plastidip is if they start to chip Ill just throw on another coat

Yeah they turned out better than I thought. I figured if they didnt look good, I would just peel it off. Thanks man
