255/80/17 KM2's now siped ?

That's better than my Hankook Dynapro MT's , and I've done OK with them for the last 2 winters

 

99% sure this will be my next tire and size .

 

Dont sipe the KM2s. They were nicer in the winter but i have like 19k on them and they are chunking baddddd. In dryer areas they chunk

Mine are siped.....came that way. I love mine and will prob get these for the life of the truck! They were great in the snow when I was up north this winter but not some much in icy conditions, then again not sure which tires would be!

 

Yes exactly, use their factory siping not aftermarket errrr...

I have NEVER seen a KM2 that came with any siping at all, no matter what their site says.

The pics on their site are totally unsiped no matter what their specs say.



Anyone see siping there? Maybe they are calling those really wide grooves on the lugs siping. If so it is not true they are just grooves and wont help on ice.

I had my KM2 255/85R16 KM2s siped and it has made 100% difference on iffy hard surfaces like slush ice and hard pack snow. No diff in deep snow but that was expected. No chunking or extra wear but it has only been a few months. I highly recommend getting them siped as it has made them a MUCH better year-round tire.

I say get em OZ and sipe those bastards. Some say inner lugs only for wear I just went the whole hog.

i love these tires but they didnt last for shit, they would balance pretty good tho
