Nikkor Lens 30-700

Up for sale is a slightly used Nikkor Lens 70-300 (ok it's practically brand new because my dumb ass didn't know it wasn't compatible with my Nikon D40 until after the fact). Comes with a Lens filter I spent $150 including the Lens filter.

Note: Will not autofocus with the Nikon D40....you can still use it but under the manual setting.

I think this lens might work. Although it is not a VR, I found the following article with a d3100 & 70-300 VR Nikkor lens.

Might want to check it out. All I know is that it does not work with my Nikon D40, something about lens with motors and some with no motors.
