In Colorado, lot's of people bike (cycle) everywhere. There is also peeps that are so wealthy and have so many cars, that 1K miles per year is a lot for each car. I have one friend with that "problem".

My stepdad has one...I've driven it a bunch. It's fun to drive (although I've never off-roaded it). It has that old world look with the visible riveting along the body panels, and drives like it. Everything rattles, massive gaps in the doors and the top, shifting is rough. It also holds together like a british vehicle. There's always something going wrong with it.

Having said all that, if I had the money and the space, I'd definitely get one. I wish we could import the newer ones here in the US, it looks like they've made it a little more tolerable for a daily driver.

oh forgot to mention that one of the service guys saw me checking it out and decided to gawk at it with me lol.

its from the 70's and apparently its some kind of military type truck he popped the compartment underneath the drivers side door and guess what thats where the engine is lol.

just a very cool truck and i thought you rover fans might enjoy it :)

I wish. The new ones look sick. And with the smaller engine they are better city driving then they use to be

    absolutely.......nuff said

ok, It would have to be a nice one, not just some bucket of rust. but that being said, they drive like shit for a daily driver but here in cali when the weather is awesome most of the year, one with the top off would erase the the thoughts of horrible ride and the fact that it is hugely underpowered.

Some guys just have really good luck and know people, I was at a gas station north of knoxville and this guy rolled up with what was like a truck version of a HUMVEE (not too sure on the spelling), I was Gawking at it and then another guy came up and mentioned how he could use one on his farm but that the military will sell old HUMVEEs but will cut them down the middle. The guy with the vehicle worked for the military and was either working on it or testing it out or had it for some reason. Sometimes you can find old military vehicles on ebay but their expensive out the waszoo.

I have a friend who has a what I believe to be about a 97 Range Rover who i have already asked for a chance to buy it if she ever sells it.

BTW I also wished I had the "problem" of owning too many vehicles.

Thats my old Discovery. That thing was stock at the time and it romped though that and the other side of that which was even deeper, On the other side the water come over my hood and almost submerged my mirrors, Still went right through it and came out running like a champ. That was the first week i had bought it.
