Just bought a 2009 Double Cab Tacoma 4x4. I do alot of hunting and am looking to put a lift kit(no bigger than three inches) on my truck. Need something that isn't going to empty my wallet but isn't a piece of crap either. Have about $3000 for lift, rims, and tires. Any suggestions?

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
Icon stage 2! You won't really need new UCAs unless you get the ext travel coilovers or go above 2.5-3"! They are pre set at 2.5" and includes a 3 leaf progressive aal and rear shocks! You'll be set and will ride smooth on road and 10x smoother off road. Easily can be done at home with the help of a friend, basic hand tools and the tutorials here online.......and beer!

Bilstein 5100s and new coil springs are another option but Icons are really that much better!

$1500 for suspension and $1500 for wheels and tires!

Wheelers offroad has the Coilovers, Rear shocks (2" w/o resi) and 3 Leaf AAL for $1470 and they'll pay the freight on the Coilovers!
or $1561 with free delivery........I think the Icon (Deaver) 3 leaf is better than the Wheelers (Alcan) 3 leaf AAL!

You say you do a lot of hunting, id say look into a full Old Man Emu (OME) suspension system. Best bang for the buck and can be ordered to compensate for the extra weight of hunters and hunting gear. Very good offroad and street performance. Full kit with Dakar leaf pack is $1300 from Toytec.
