    I thought we were friends

and everyone is getting WAY off track with the whole stereotypical 'black friends' comment.
It's just a stupid honkey tactic to get you to give us your money... wait... what...

    What was your question?

Oh, waaaay back in the day (Long before restoration in 1800's) this was the case for A GENERATION

    No problem :)

Yes there are 12 apostles and a Prophet but they are not appointed because of them claiming a revelation. No one can elect/appoint themselves into any position in our church.

My dad was, my mom joined in college.

Oh not this again  Crazy Fundamentalist Mormons do the orgy garbage, but Mormons have only one wife. If you dare! lol

Yes we believe that everyone that came to earth will be resurrected, but eternal life means living in the Celestial Kingdom with God (at least according to us :D )

Okay I will try and go through these one at a time, it will take some time.

so this post will be updated--EDIT--should have answered them all now

I better hurry up and post before it's too late. Religion is interesting to me so even though we don't have the same faith, I have much respect for you. So, Whats the deal with the Mt Meadows Massacre? What are your thoughts? No religion is perfect, and I guess no evidence to show the church as a whole was responsible, but no evidence to say they are not. Working with local indians to kill Men, Womwen and children passing through to Ca...Not cool. I know there are extreamests here and there, but this is kinda crazy...

IMO a big screwup for a group of Mormons, our church tried to "sweep this under the rug" for awhile but has admitted it and put a plaque there iirc about 10-15 years ago

thanks, i want to black out my badges to get the complete color scheme going. and its cheap enough to do so i can still be saving money overall. if had more money some a front and rear bumper painted black would be nice

    ME's for the win

all i can say is if there is one thing i've learned in my short days it's:
people are different and have diff. opinions, beliefs, and wants from you. you may not understand why or what could possible lead them to their reasoning ans solutions. you just have to accept it. not everyone can agree with you or have your same ideas. the sooner you accept this the better

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Maybe you should look around the site a little more. There are several threads on the topic of religion.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/of...4-whats-your-religion.html?highlight=religion

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/of...n-invention-has-been.html?highlight=religious

The only one who seems to be getting butt-hurt here is you. The OP merely offered to answer questions regarding his beliefs, which he has done without prejudice. He has even taken some good ol' joshing about it. I'm sure that no one is going to jump out and convert to LDS just from a Q&A session. So if you don't care for the subject matter, stay out of the thread.

    That goes for everyone.

I love that people have different views! Imagine how boring car shopping would be, well here we have the blue corolla, here we have another identical corolla, here we have another blue corolla, etc... I am not asking people to agree with Mormons (or me) but just in case someone had a question as to why Mormons believe something or if something was true. If I seem to be demanding everyone go convert to Mormonism I definitely do NOT mean to. I like my church and if people are looking I will try and offer my views to help. (ex. I dated a girl for over a year who was looking into a nondenominational church and encouraged her) Find something that works for you!!

Well there are definitely some older people here as well but I think the OP has done an amazing job at answering everyone's questions.
