I bought a Barcelona Red TRD Sport DCLB within the year and have just started down the slippery slope of upgrades. Here's where I'm at so far, in order, witch some pix as I know how you guys are:

    Toyota all weather floor mats
    Door sill protectors
    Thule Bed Rider
Leer 180 insulated, light, 50/50 windows
Windows tinted (30% up front, factory in rear)
Go Rhino Dominator II in black - on its way
ToyTec 3" Annodized Black spacer, diff drop, rear AAL 2.5" - returning this, bought Roughy Country from Les Schwab so they could install and provide 3 year warranty

Factory 265/65/17 duellers look even with 3" leveling kit (not too small). I tested Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70/17 on the front yesterday and they rubbed the control arm significantly, so I've ordered 1.25" Spidertrax. I hope that resolves that issue. Nittos look incredible. Also want AFE dry filter and maybe cold air intake...

Got the Spidertrax 1.25" spacers yesterday and ran to Discount Tires to have the Nitto Terra Grappler AT 285/70/17 4ply put on. Was surprised by the fact that they rubbed quite a bit on the front at the bottom of the bumper. But after a few passes with my Dremol cut-off tool I was able to fix that.

A little bit louder than tha factory Dueller tires. But a lot more exciting to look at. One wheel took three weights to balance.. not great, but what can you do?

I am pretty jazzed about the lift and new tires - the truck looks like a real truck now. The DCLB, especially with the high canopy looks kind of squatty and too long when it's so low to the ground. Now it looks more comfortable in its own skin. My only regret is going cheap on the lift - $626 for the Les Schway 3" lift install from Rough Country, with add-a-leaf. The ride seems pretty stiff and I really feel the bumps. On wavy concrete, such as highways aroud Seattle, the truck really wobbles vertically.

Now I await the Dominator IIs which should be in today and the first phase of truckifying my truck will be complete. Next stop, sound dampening in the cab. Then new audio gear.

BTW - what are people doing about spare tires once they've sized up? 285/70 may not fit up under the bed, and am I to buy a 5th tire? Or just carry some fix a flat? I took the factory spare off the truck to save weight. But wondering where to go from here...?

Nice progress with the truckifying! And you are spot on... the slope of upgrades is a very slippery one.

    this and that...
i know what youre saying about slippery slope. i just got my truck; still got paper plates on it and i managed to do, billies w/ eibach, truxedo tonneau, trd s/s, bhlm, black grill, icon uca. i like the billies but since i got the icon uca, ended up buying the icon extended travel 3.5 coilivers and icon 2.5 for the rear. its a money pit, thats for certain =/.

looks good op, tho im not a fan of toppers in general.

my truck would prolly still be stock if not for tw tho, so that slope is espeically slippery around here!
