    The first few times I filled up, I had to refer to the manual on how to do it. But now, it's second nature.

    Mine? 3M makes this stuff called "Dual Lock". You can get it at Radio Shak.

    YOu peel & stick a piece of it to both the scangauge & the steering column. Match the two pieces together and it doesn't come apart. Kinda like Velcro on A LOT of steroids.

    I had Velcro on the bottom of mine from my previous vehicle. I grabbed a small package of Velcro that has adhesive on the back, mounted it on top of my steering column with that. Hunky-dory.

    They are a great improvement to any vehicle. I'd be lost without mine now. I've taken great pains to calibrate mine and the fuel consumption data is accurate to within a 1/10 of a gallon at fillup. If my Scangauge says I can make it to the next town, I can make it. All the other engin data is useful too. I mounted mine on the dash directly in front of me so I don't have to look down to read it.
