Got a great deal from a great guy. Still looks like new and he is including the original console that was already modified for the set up. It is almost bolt in! I have read a lot of mixed reviews on the box but what I learned is that the amp is important which will be the JL500/1 but if the sub doesn't hold up....you can upgrade to a better JL 10 that is gauranteed to hit! I don't want a system that the neighbors can hear but rather an awesome in cab experience so I will have to see what it sounds like from the factory first. Will post pics tomorrow that I got from the seller. Any owners out there that can chime in?

    EDIT: Pics in post #3

That is a pretty interesting box I wonder if it would fit a regular cab. And when you get let us know how it sounds

Well if you have the console instead of the bench seat...I am sure it would fit but the dynamics of the sound might not be that great because it is designed to use the air space in the access/double cab trucks. If you notice it also has an angle to mimic a slight down firing I guess. Unfortunately I won't have this hooked up for a little while as I need to still purchase all of the other components to the system that I would like to put together and to be honest....I wasn't really ready even to buy this sub but could not pass up on the AMAZING deal! It will just sit in the corner of my office for a little while but at least I am motivated to start pursuing the other components sooner than I was planning to!

I was thinking of something a long the lines of this. I was thinking of something going over the hump between the back seats and the cup holders. With this box though I don't like fact that you lose the cup holders. I don't really care for the cup holders in the door.

I agree and to be honest...I forgot I actually had them because I never liked them but do you mean to tell me that you drive with your drinks in the back cup holders? Also...They still have a little over 2" of space so a coffee cup could still work.

Lol. No I don't. I mean for the people in the back seat who uses them. But thanks for the idea if I ever wanted to try to use the cup holders in the back while I'm driving in the front.

I heard its pretty good as long as you aren't looking for major bump. Mind me asking a ballpark figure for what you paid?

I agree.....I have read so much on this sub. The cool thing is that if you upgrade the woofer to a 10W6...the sound is supposed to be phenomenal. Again I am not looking to go thumping around the neighborhood as I am too old for that no matter what age I am! I am just interested in a serious sound within the truck. I will definitely post up detailed reviews once I get it all set up. There isn't enough info for access cabs sub set ups because there are only so many configurations for them.

Pioneer priemere head unit. JL 6.5 components in the fronts. JL 6.5 coaxial's in rear doors. Pushed by JL JX360/4. Kicker "Hideaway" under passenger seat, self powered.
Just scored one dirt cheap. Have a strange question will the stealthbox for the access cab fit in a double cab? I am betting the seats will stop it. Any advice/experience
