So after a long tedious mental game of trying to figure out what Tacoma I wanted, where to find it, and how to get the best price, I finally ended my search yesterday and picked up a 2012 DCLB TRD Sport in MGM. This is my first Tacoma, but not my first truck. My last truck was a 2010 F-150 FX4. Yes I know, I feel as if I must come clean before I become an active member on this forum.

As for the truck, I couldn't be happier with the ride, look, and sheer happiness. I know a lot of people are against the 2012 front end, but I'm a big fan. Looking forward to a long journey in TacomaWorld!

It always takes a while for the new body styles to grow on people...

I didn't look at the Tundra this time around. Back when I got my F-150 I thought about it for a tiny bit, but really never had any inclination to buy the Tundra. The F-150 was a great full size truck and I have no regrets, but wasn't really necessary for everyday life. The Tacoma won't be a daily driver and my F-150 was (100 mile a day commute!)

I like the new front end an really like the color you chose. I just traded "up" from an F150 Super Crew to a taco regular cab. I love not having to stop and fill up every 3 days anymore!

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.
Love it and I love the new front end on the 12s.

Oh and I think the poll about the front end.. It's up to around 60% approval now.. so I would say it's a winner!!
