Spring rate is 600. DSM thinks its wierd that i find them stiff, and i dont know if im being picky because everyone else loves them out of the box it seems like but im not too sure of them yet. I might go test drive a stock tacoma to get a feel for them stock.

I'm installing my Kings tomorrow, tried to adjust them on a vise, it didn't want to budge, will maybe use a spring compressor tomorrow and then adjust the collar. See how it goes.

you can with the right tool/tools, however the rod that comes from King will not net you adjustment as the shock buckets plus UCA are too much in the way.

it is a royal pain to adjust them! I had to rent a spring compressor and mod it to get them there. Plus they ended up getting stuck and I had to cut them off.

Maybe try the speed bumps at 30 and 40 to see if they improve! They'll be stiffer than stock on the small stuff but the faster hits should be very smooth! It sounds like they're "uncomfortable" and that doesn't sound right?

What a royal pain in the ass! Remove from the vehicle and then use that puch tool? Are all the high end coilover like this? With Toytec the adjustment collars are on the bottom out of the way and you use a c shaped spanner wrench that fits in the holes. Very easy!

Icons come with a spanner wrench. Some people have tried telling me you can adjust kings on the truck, but that shit didnt happen. It took 3 full days to adjust them.

It's the T handle adjuster wrench, if you get one make sure they send you the right size, the one they sent me was too big so I had to grind the tip down.

I'm having exactly the same problem adjusting the coilovers. I'm gonna take them off and try to figure something out. Any ideas?

seems you just need to compress the spring down then adjust.

Already tried that to an extent. I'm gonna have to buy the spring compressor I rented and modify it to fit in between the springs.
