I try to keep a nice lawn. It is weed free, well edged, proper height, and the greenest on the street. Now that we have this guy move in down the street and he "walks" his two dachsands, I have been finding little land mines all over my yard. The guy lets the dogs run around with no leash and the entire time he is talking on the phone. I probably find about 3 poops a week.

Here are some of my ideas to deal with this problem.

    1. Collect the poop in a bag and then go dump it on his porch after I see him leave.
    2. Put up a no pooping sign in my yard.
    3. Knock on his door and try to politely tell him to watch his dogs.
    4. Collect the poop in a bag and put a notice on it saying "If you recognize this poop, please take it with you."
    5. Fling the poop in the sidewalk.
    6. Catch him on the street while he is walking the dogs.

Doing nothing is not an option. I hate when dog owners don't pick up after their dog. That is part of owning a dog.

Politely ask him to take his dogs to poop elsewhere. If that doesn't work, next time you see him and the dogs out there run out, arms flailing, with shotgun in hand. :D

The only reason why I don't like this idea, is that I have a feeling that this guy will deny it and then I can't anonymously put the poop on his porch.

I say, catch him in the act. That way there is no denying anything. If it persist, catch him again and throw it at him.
