    How much does a suspension lift change the payload of a truck if any? i assume if it does it has to do with the type of suspension. i'm considering the ultimate lift from toytec or the OME lift kit with 885.

    What I was told by my Dealership's Service Manager when he approved my Leaf Spring TSB, was
    There are more than the springs and shocks that determine the Payload Capacity of a Truck.
    That being said, I don't know if it's accurate, and would also like the answer from our esteemed and knowledgeable members.
    Not that I don't trust a Service Manager :rolleyes:

    Like :broccoli: said, usually theyll let you haul capacity easier. With an AAL or a new stronger leaf pack youll be able to haul more without having to worry.

    but if you use blocks you'll just wear down your packs faster

    Payload capacity/tow capacity also has to do with engine, trans., brakes, frame, as well as springs. Simply increasing spring rate doesnt increase payload capacities.
